Kay´nuh; Heb., “reed”

1 A small brook, the modern Wadi Qanah, that forms part of the boundary between the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh (Josh 16:8; Josh 17:9). It flows generally west and southwest, joining the Yarkon before emptying into the Mediterranean Sea north of present-day Arsuf. 2 The north border town of the tribe of Asher (Josh 19:28), modern Qana (not NT Cana), about six miles southeast of Tyre.
